Luxe is a warm and squishy ear-warming headband pattern featuring a fun waffle stitch texture and a trendy faux twist. The magic of this pattern is in how you seam the ends together. You’ll find a photo tutorial at the end of the instructions to show you how it’s done.
For this headband, I used just over half a ball of Lion Brand Heartland in the color Glacier Bay. This lovely, soft acrylic yarn comes in several heather and tweedy shades inspired by the natural beauty of the American landscape. I have a few different colors of this yarn in my stash and can’t wait to use them all.

Fasten off, leaving a lengthy tail for seaming.
Lay work flat with right side facing up.
Pick up right end and pinch the fabric to form a V-shape with the open side of the V facing left.
Pick up the left end and create another V with the open side of the V facing right.
Couple the V-shapes together to create 4 even layers of fabric.
Using the tail, evenly sew back and forth through all 4 layers.
When satisfied that the ends are sewn securely, weave in and clip the tail.
Here is the wrong side of the work when finished.
Turn the headband right side out and smooth out the folds of the sewn ends.
