Prism is a free ear-warming headband knitting pattern that features a stylish twist in the front. This headband is very quick to make using bulky yarn. The magic of the pattern is in how the ends are seamed together. There is a photo tutorial at the end of the post to show you just how it’s done.

Work should measure approximately 19 inches from cast-on edge.
Cast off, leaving a lengthy tail for seaming. I lightly blocked width only to about 4.5 inches.
Lay work flat with the right side facing up.
Pick up one end and pinch the fabric to form a V-shape.
Pick up the other end and create another V with the open side of the V facing right. Couple the V-shapes together to create 4 layers of fabric.
Arrange the layers so they are even.
Using the tail, evenly sew through all 4 layers.
When satisfied that the ends are sewn securely, weave in and clip the tail. Here is the wrong side of the work when finished.
Turn the headband right side out and smooth out the folds of the sewn ends. Your twisted Prism Headband is complete.
